For this project, in the “flats” of Beverly Hills, the British client was looking to live the perfect “Southern California” Lifestyle with an ease of entertaining in large open spaces.

In working towards the Lifestyle, we needed to capture the elegance and simplicity of LA life while still maintaining a formal edge.

The home was restructured to bring it up to seismic code and in the process, much of the rear was opened to allow for large sheets of glass - most of them operable. We also took advantage of the property to create as much visual privacy as possible through plantings and fencing.

The interior of the home is white on white with thassos slab floors, silk area rugs and white plaster walls. The furnishings set a formal mood in the cashmere and lambskin and strike a balance against the contemporary art.
